THE ROLE
The Senior Advisor will work within the Information Technology Services Branch and will report into the Manager Strategy and Design. The role works across Housing portfolio to provide strategic advice and guidance to stakeholders and respond to their ICT needs by socialising potential technology innovations. In addition, the Senior Advisor supports portfolio planning, prioritisation and the shaping the pipeline of new initiatives as well as provides oversight of projects currently in delivery for the Housing portfolio.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders to articulate and shape technology needs that align with current IT and business strategies by:
- Developing concept briefs;
- Consult with internal clients and stakeholders documenting their high-level business needs;
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on project and portfolio management to senior executives as required;
- Support and maintain effective governance across the Housing portfolio and related programs of work.
- Undertake the identification, analysis and review of stakeholder needs to determine the most appropriate solution and strategies to minimise impacts.
- Maintains knowledge of multiple business functions and initiatives to identify where conflict / synergies exist between technologies and business functions, incorporating an Enterprise Architecture approach.
