About the business unit
The Security and Emergency Services Group (SESG) provides security and emergency response services to Victoria's correctional system.
SESG oversees many portfolios, including emergency and incident response, high security person escorts, state-wide training services, barrier control, search and canine services and the management of firearms.
About the role
As a supervisor within SESG, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned work areas, including the (but not limited to) chemical agents, firearms, canines, occupational health and safety and human resources portfolios.
You will play an integral role in the development, implementation, reinforcement and review of practices and procedures relating to SESG operations. You will actively lead working parties and reference groups, take responsibility for additional portfolios, participate in project teams and committees, and provide advice through written reports to senior management.

A Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Custodial) or similar is desirable.
