About the role:
The Secretariat & Governance Officer provides support to the Board Secretariat and broader Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) team in delivering the activities and governance elements for Parks Victoria's Board and its sub-committees and the Senior Executive Committee and its sub-committees.
The role supports and facilitates the provision of timely, high-quality strategic advice, administrative and governance support. This includes accurate and through end-to-end administration responsibilities, coordinating and distributing agendas/meeting papers, recording accurate minutes, maintaining action registers, and managing member engagement.
The role requires a high level of discretion, and the ability to work confidentially with sensitive information.
About the Team
The Office of the CEO provides strategic advice, administrative and governance support to the CEO and Board. The office collaborates with the executives across the organisation, leading and supporting the delivery of Parks Victoria's strategic objectives, legislative requirements and government priorities, and manages the organizations' authorising environment, building and strengthening relationships with ministerial offices across all levels of government and with external stakeholders.
