The Scoping and Development Engineer, based in Regional Transport, leads the design of integrated transport projects in Regional Victoria. They create high-quality, delivery-ready project designs that incorporate stakeholder requirements.

Position accountabilities
- Adherence to Guidelines – The Scoping and Development Engineer has developed project designs in accordance with the DTP technical guidelines.
- Effective Project Design – Ensures the proposed project designs are fully scoped, feasible, costed and documented in accordance with DTP design principles and the DTP Project Management Framework and relevant Project Management tools.
- Stakeholder Management – Requirements from multiple complex stakeholders have been taken into consideration and effectively integrated into project designs.
- Team Cohesion – The incumbent has worked efficiently and has provided constructive contribution as part of a successful design team.
Qualifications and experienceMandatory
- License (without any restriction which preclude the incumbent from performing the inherent requirements of the position and which cannot be reasonably accommodated by the Department)

- Bachelor of Civil Engineering Qualification
