The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About the Role
The Department of Education Outer Gippsland Area Team is advertising for a School Improvement Program Support Officer. The Position will be Housed in the Sale Office and will report the Executive Director of Area.
The Position is an Ongoing Position and will work closely with the Administration Team supporting the Executive Director of Area to execute the administrative functions of the Outer Gippsland Corporate Team.
The Project Officer plans and undertakes administration and governance of special projects and programs. The incumbent will exercise professional judgement about the application of rules, or the selection of choices prescribed within existing guidelines. The role entails collecting and analysing data associated with projects undertaken, reporting on project outcomes, and providing general support to ensure smooth project and program management
Driver licence and ability to travel between Bairnsdale and Sale offices will be required as part of the role function. For more information about the role see the Position description or reach out to the hiring manager.
