About the Role
This role is located in the Wimmera South West Area, 1.0 FTE, fixed term until 30 June 2027 based at either the Horsham or Hamilton office. Job sharing would be considered for suitable applicants.
Join our regional team at the Department of Education as an Administration Officer, a key role that provides executive and administrative support to the Executive Director, helping us achieve our department's goals. You'll also get to play a significant part in coordinating administrative support functions across the area.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively with Department employees and the community. We're looking for someone who can adapt to different situations, collaborate well with others, and maintain the utmost discretion, confidentiality, integrity, and initiative.
Key responsibilities of this position include managing the Executive Director's calendar, handling correspondence and emails, and records management. The role will be the go-to person for managing meetings and events on behalf of the Executive Director and will support the coordination of administrative functions for the area and the Area Leadership team.
