The School Executive Assistant & Communications Coordinator provides high-level executive support to the Principal and School Leadership Team while leading the school's internal and external communications strategy.
This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the leadership office through exceptional administrative support, while enhancing the school's profile by managing communications, digital platforms, branding, marketing initiatives and community engagement. The successful applicant will be highly organised, proactive, creative and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced school environment with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
Executive Leadership Support
¿ Provide confidential executive administrative support to the Principal, Assistant Principals and Wellbeing Team.
¿ Prepare reports, presentations, meeting agendas and minutes.
¿ Coordinate leadership projects and follow up actions.
Communications & Marketing
¿ Develop and implement engaging communication strategies that strengthen relationships with families and the broader community.
¿ Maintain consistency in the school's branding, visual identity and messaging.
¿ Produce promotional material for school events, enrolments and community initiatives.
Digital Media & Website Management
¿ Manage and update the school website ensuring information remains current and accessible.
¿ Create and publish engaging content across the school's social media platforms.
¿ Monitor digital engagement and recommend improvements.
Newsletter & Publications
¿ Coordinate the production of the school newsletter from planning through to publication.
¿ Liaise with staff to source articles, photographs and announcements.
¿ Edit and proofread all communications to ensure a professional standard.
Community Engagement
¿ Act as a welcoming first point of contact for families and community stakeholders.
¿ Coordinate school tours, information evenings, open days and promotional events.

Qualifications & Requirements:
¿ Demonstrated experience in administration, communications, digital marketing or a similar role.
¿ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
¿ Demonstrated experience using Canva or similar graphic design software.
¿ Experience managing websites and social media platforms.
¿ Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.
¿ Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
¿ Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
