Salesforce Administrator
- Salary: $100,894 to $114,476 (Plus Superannuation)
- Fixed term role: up to 13 months
- Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)

The Role
As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be part of the Salesforce Support team which provides Salesforce support to the Department for the delivery of government industry and disaster response and recovery programs.
Main accountabilities:
- Deliver end-user support across multiple customised Salesforce environments supporting more than 1,700 users, while undertaking core administration activities such as user onboarding and offboarding, permission management, and development of reports and dashboards.
- Oversee Service Cloud case queues to triage, action and resolve support requests raised by users, ensuring time recording and resolution notes are maintained in line with agreed service levels.
- Develop capability in the Department's in-house form building function, including designing, configuring and testing straightforward portal forms for publication on the Grants Portal.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly reviews of system access and user activity, supporting the identification of potential security risks, inappropriate access and other control weaknesses.
The Team
The position of Salesforce Administrator forms a part of the Information Technology and Workplace Services branch within the Corporate Services group.
The Corporate Services group consists of specialist functions including finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services and emergency management.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated capability as an IT Administrator, with a proactive approach to managing and resolving cases within agreed service levels.
- Sound understanding of system access and security models, with experience in user onboarding and offboarding, application configuration, data validation and data migration tools. Experience applying these in Salesforce would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and change management practices within an agile delivery environment.
