The Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) is the independent statutory authority responsible for regulating Victoria's teaching profession, helping to ensure quality teaching and the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
We're seeking an experienced Safety, Health & Wellbeing Manager to lead VIT's strategic approach to workplace safety, health and wellbeing.
About the role
Sitting within the People & Culture team, you will lead VIT's strategic, safety, health and wellbeing agenda and provide specialist advice and leadership across the organisation.
You will work closely with executives, senior leaders and key stakeholders to strengthen psychological safety, identify and manage psychosocial risks, build leadership capability and embed contemporary health, safety and wellbeing practices.
Combining strategic leadership with specialist expertise, you will use data, evidence and emerging best practice to identify organisational risks, and opportunities and develop initiatives that support a healthy, engaged and high performing workforce.
