About the Role
This is an Ongoing full-time position in Ballarat. The Roadside Delivery Lead plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of the VRMC Grampians contract, acting as a key driver of operational performance, stakeholder engagement and strategic oversight in relation to the roadside and environment. Additionally, this position is central to ensuring the effective delivery of routine roadside maintenance services across the Grampians region, with direct accountability for managing the annual programme and Lastly, the Roadside Delivery Lead will manage a diverse portfolio of works, addressing emerging issues, driving continuous improvement, and delivering value-for-money outcomes for all stakeholders.

To be successful in the Roadside Delivery Lead role, you will build strong stakeholder relationships by adding value, linking relevant parties and constructively addressing issues,while managing difficult conversations through negotiation, problem-solving and coaching others. You will apply critical thinking to resolve problems, interpret guidelines and make informed decisions, ensuring actions align with organisational values, ethics, legal obligations and the priorities of key stakeholders and lastly, you will support effective project delivery by coordinating tasks, monitoring progress and applying commercial awareness to manage costs, engage vendors efficiently and achieve agreed outcomes.
