Research Nurse Level 1
Fixed Term, Full-Time Role - (80 hours per fortnight) with Monthly ADO
The Parkville Cancer Clinical Trials Unit (PCCTU) coordinates cutting-edge clinical trials across three leading institutions in the Parkville Medical Precinct: The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, The Royal Melbourne Hospital, and The Royal Women’s Hospital. As Australia’s largest oncology trials unit, we offer an exciting and growing portfolio of clinical trials.
We are currently seeking a dedicated nurse with oncology experience to join our dynamic team caring for Neuro-oncology and Uro-oncology patients. If you have a passion for oncology nursing, excellent communication skills, and a strong willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.
About the Role:
• Full-time, fixed-term appointment for 2 years, with potential for permanency thereafter
• Classification and salary commensurate with experience, starting at Research Nurse Level 1 (Grade 2) for those new to clinical trials
• Consideration for Level 2 or 3 classification for applicants with relevant research experience, in line with EBA conditions
• Training and mentorship provided to support your professional growth
What We’re Looking For:
• Oncology nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous clinical trials experience is advantageous but not essential
