About the role
The Remand Coordinator is responsible for assessing prisoners' transitional needs, referring to pre and post release support programs and services, and assisting in prisoner discharge planning. They also undertake prisoner risk and need assessments. The position will liaise with Community Correctional Services in relation to parole planning, transition to Community Correctional Orders and the facilitation and sharing of inform.ation.
