Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is the first level of the Victorian court system and is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria. It has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 locations, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
The role of Registrar - Office Manager working with the General Registry Manager and other Office Manager is responsible for all daily operational tasks in the General Registry including, resource allocation, workflow management, staff training, development and performance management.
In this role you will use your strong technical skills and knowledge to develop and guide staff rotating within the registry and will manage the day to day operational tasks of the registry and liaise with management and key stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely delivery of service.

About you
• The successful applicant must have completed the Registrar trainee program and have delegated authority under the appropriate legislation to be eligible for this role.
• This role has significant technical components as well as team leadership and people-management components and, therefore, requires someone who has both an advanced understanding of the Court's protocols and procedures and well-developed team-leadership experience.
