Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the perform.ance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The MCV determines in excess of 200,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, dealing with over 90 percent of all adult cases that come before Victorian courts each year.

About the Role
Join the Magistrates' Court of Victoria as a Registrar and play a vital role in delivering fair, efficient, and accessible justice to the community. This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgement, and is committed to public service excellence. This role works across two locations in Korumburra and Wonthaggi.
As a Registrar, you will undertake a diverse range of responsibilities, including court-based proceedings, client services, administrative functions, and the exercise of statutory powers. No two days are the same as you work collaboratively with judicial officers, legal practitioners, Victoria Police, the Office of Public Prosecutions, court users, and members of the public.
