About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking Registered Psychiatric Nurses to join Ngootyoong Prevention and Recovery Centre (PARC) in our role as Clinical Specialist. This role is responsible for applying clinical knowledge and expertise to the assessment, delivery of evidence-based treatment, and interventions for consumers with complex mental health needs, as well as their families and carers. You will be required to work a rotating 7-day roster, including morning, evening, night and weekend shifts.
PARC provides recovery-oriented treatment for people with, or at risk of developing, serious mental illness in a home-like setting. The service offers a supported residential environment for individuals who are becoming unwell or are in the early stages of recovery and would benefit from short-term (up to 28 days) or medium-term (up to six months) intensive treatment to strengthen their biological, psychological and social wellbeing. A two-week day program is also available.
