About the role:
The Aged Psychiatry Assessment & Treatment Team (APATT) are a dynamic, thoughtful, supportive multidisciplinary mental health team who strive to make life better for the people we work with, and their families and carers.
We are a team of Clinicians invested in our work and in supporting each other to offer our best.
As a multidisciplinary team, we have a wide range of skills to offer and welcome new staff to build on this skillset, particularly where experience varies to that of our team’s existing repertoire.
Key responsibilities:
Our team’s work is primarily focussed on outreach (seeing people in their own homes) mixed with outpatient reviews at the clinic.
We work primarily with adults over the age of 65, many of whom are finding life challenging as they age - being able to make a positive contribution to their experiences keeps us on our toes and ensures the working day is lively and interesting.
