About the Role:
Are you a Registered Nurse with 1+ years clinical experience, looking to broaden your practice, accelerate your professional development and build your leadership capability?
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic nurses to join the inaugural intake of this innovative program.
The Aged General Medicine and Subacute (AGMS) Services at Western Health is proud to launch our new 16-month Registered Nurse Rotational Program, providing participants with the opportunity to undertake postgraduate studies through supported education scholarships. We also offer a non-postgraduate pathway for nurses wishing to develop their clinical skills and experience through a structured rotational program without formal study commitments.
The Program will comprise of three rotations, with approximately five months per rotation across AGMS clinical areas: General Medicine, Acute Aged Care and Subacute Care.
This unique initiative combines clinical rotations across AGMS, including acute and specialty areas with postgraduate education, providing participants with the knowledge, skills and experience to become future nursing leaders within Western Health.
About the Program:
The Registered Nurse AGMS Rotational Program has been designed to provide nurses with a comprehensive understanding of Aged Care, General Medicine and Subacute Services, while supporting their academic and professional growth.
Participants will be guaranteed ongoing employment within Western Health following successful completion of the program.
