About the Role:
This is a Fixed Term Full Time position 76 hours per fortnight for 12 months commencing in February 2026 and based primarilly in community mental health.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that clinical practice and delivery of care is consistent with Royal Childrens Hospital (RCH) and Australian Nurses and Midwifery Council standards. This is done by providing comprehensive, safe and evidence-based practice across a range of contexts. You will facilitate optimal health outcomes, perform self-assessment of scope of practice, and competence related to your assigned responsibilities.

Classification for this position will range from NP21 – NP70 (base salary $72,405 to $96,808 per annum, plus superannuation).

Your Skills and Experience:
The Community Rotation:
This position offers the opportunity to work specifically in the community and specialist teams. You will work primarily in one of our community teams at Travancore which provides care for children aged 0-11yrs and their families, and in our In2School Day program which caters for children and young people presenting with school refusal. You will also have the opportunity to work with our Hospital Consultation and Liaison team which provides care for children and young people 0-18yrs, and there are options to gain experience working in a variety of other specialist teams throughout the term.
