About the Role
The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and cardiology ward (ward 2B) is a progressive and dynamic unit. CCU comprises of 6 CCU beds and 4 step-down beds. Ward 2B comprises of 23 cardiology beds. The unit functions within a collaborative environment. Our shared goal is the delivery of high-quality patient centred care.
As a Registered Nurse, you are a vital member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, striving to deliver excellent care to patients and their families. You understand the importance of providing nursing care that focuses on achieving the best possible outcomes for patients. This includes, but is not limited to, providing patient education across the continuum of care and delivering safe, high-quality care that aligns with the Royal Melbourne Hospital values of People First, Lead with Kindness, and Excellence Together.
