About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Registered Nurse to join either the Youang Surgery Centre (YSC) Scrub/Scout team or Main Operating Theatre Scrub/Scout Team. Temporary and Permanent Positions available.
As a Scrub/Scout Nurse, you will play an integral role in providing safe, effective and patient-focused care throughout the surgical journey. Working within a fast-paced day surgery environment, you will collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and support staff to support positive patient outcomes and deliver excellence in perioperative care.
This role will suit a Registered Nurse with scrub/scout experience who is committed to teamwork, quality improvement and providing exceptional standards of care.

About Main Operating Theatre (Operational 24 Hrs/ day)
Main theatres at Barwon Health provide a 24 hour service to the community across 10 Operating Theatres. We not only provide access for Elective Surgery but also Semi Urgent and Emergency procedures. The specialities include Cardiothoracics, ENT, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Oral Faciomaxillary, Plastics, Orthopaedics, Opthalmology, Urology, Vascular and Robotic Surgery.
