About the role
The Home Dialysis Unit is seeking skilled registered nurses with experience in peritoneal dialysis or haemodialysis with a passion for patient education to join our team on a permanent part time basis.
The Home Dialysis Unit are committed to the education care and support of patients to perform dialysis in their own home. Our team is dedicated to creating a compassionate and supportive environment for both our patients and staff. We believe in continuous improvement and professional development ensuring our team members have the resources and support they need to excel.
The Home Dialysis Unit offers dialysis care, education and support for patients undertaking Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) and Nocturnal Home Haemodialysis (NHHD) in their own home. Education is provided in the Home Dialysis Unit as well as via home visits to the patient’s home.
The Home Dialysis Unit operates Monday to Friday 0800-1600. A rostered telephone on call service is provided 2000-0800 Monday to Friday and 24hrs on Weekends.
