Registered Nurse Grade 2 – Day Therapy
Ongoing; Full - time and Part-Time Positions Available
Join Peter Mac’s Day Therapy Unit, where excellence in cancer care meets compassion and innovation. We’re seeking passionate and skilled Registered Nurses to become part of our dynamic team, providing high-quality care to patients across a range of therapy settings.
About Day Therapy
Our Day Therapy Unit comprises five specialised areas:
• Chemotherapy Day Unit
• Medical Day Unit
• Transfusion Lounge
• Clinical Trials Unit
You will have the opportunity to rotate through these sub-specialties based on your professional interests, skills, and development goals. You’ll be supported by a dedicated preceptor, nurse manager, and clinical nurse specialists within a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (no night shifts).
About You
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who demonstrates:
• A background in acute oncology care (experience in chemotherapy administration, cannulation, and CVAD care is desirable, though training and development will be provided for exceptional applicants).
• A commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others, with a patient-centred approach to care.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills, with a genuine enthusiasm for learning and growth.
• A collaborative mindset – teamwork is central to the success of our unit, where we strive every day to deliver exceptional cancer care and advance treatment outcomes.

Remuneration as per Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028. RN Grade 2 Year 1 (YP2) $81,733 (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for Part Time) - RN Grade 2 Year 8 (YP9) $103,152. (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for Part Time) dependant on candidate experience. To be discussed with Hiring Manager.
