About The Surgery Centre
The Surgery Centre (TSC) is located at the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital. We have a 32 bed ward which caters for short stay elective surgery cases and a day surgery unit (Satellite) that has 21 points of care. The day surgery area is operational 5 days a week and the in patient ward is operational 24 hours / 7 days a week.
About the role
The Registered Nurse is a key member of the health care team here at TSC and is responsible for:
A regular day will see you:
Working within a team and taking responsibility for planning, implementing and evaluating evidence based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes for our patients.
On any given day you may be working either in the ward environment or in the day surgery unit.

You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
