Are you a passionate and dedicated nurse ready to make a real difference? The brand-new Footscray Hospital is opening its doors in February 2026, and we’re looking for skilled Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team!
An exciting opportunity is now available for caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join the Emergency Department at Footscray from February 2026. Our Emergency Nurses bring strong clinical expertise and work collaboratively within an inter-professional team to provide the highest quality care to patients facing potentially life-threatening conditions.
If you thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment and are committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care, this is your opportunity to join a state-of-the-art facility featuring five resuscitation bays, nine fast-track bays, and more than 50 acute and short-stay beds — purpose-built to meet the growing healthcare needs of Melbourne’s west.
The Emergency Department also includes a dedicated Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Hub, providing specialised, urgent care for individuals experiencing mental health or AOD crises. The hub brings together a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses and social workers who deliver on-site assessment and treatment.
