About the Role
Fixed term of 34 weeks to cover Parental Leave
24 to 32 hours per week (0.6 to 0.8 FTE)
As a clinical nurse your practice will lead to excellence in patient/resident/participant care. You understand the importance of establishing a relationship between the patient/resident/participant and yourself in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for your patient/resident/participant.
You demonstrate the core nursing values of patient, resident, participant centred care, trust, and respect in every interaction with patients/residents/participants, carers, and colleagues.
As a nurse you are accountable for establishing and evaluating the patient/resident/participants plan of care in partnership with the patient/resident/participant, carers, and other members of the health care team.
You are supported in your role as a clinical nurse by all other nursing positions
About You
Minimum Qualifications:
Key Selection Criteria (Essential):
• Registered Nurse with Current Registration with AHPRA
• Understanding of the NSQHS Care Quality Standards, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, Child Safe Standards and NDIS Standards
• Demonstrated ability to provide safe and effective care, integrating nursing and healthcare knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
• Demonstrates a patient, resident, participant and family centred approach to patient, resident, participant care throughout the patient, resident, participant stay.
• Demonstrated ability to understand how to achieve optimal outcomes within a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication (written- including report writing-and oral) and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated strong organisational and time management skills.
Desirable Selection Criteria:
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills relevant to scope of practice.
• Proficiency with IT programs

Moyne Health Services is a public, not for profit, integrated healthcare service that helps meet community healthcare needs in Port Fairy and surrounding districts in the Moyne Shire.
