About the Role:
This is a part time/full time position to cover various leave types for six months (Fixed Term) within Rosella Ward - Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), with an option to transition to Nursing Workforce Department - Pool, working part time or full time, hours negotiable. You will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive holistic patient assessments and contributes to the development of care plans, ensuring alignment with best practice and the individual needs of patients and families. You will be working alongside key stakeholders communicating and collaborating effectively to ensure coordinated patient care is efficient and supports functioning of healthcare systems.
Internally, this position may otherwise be known and/or referred to as: Registered Nurse - Rosella Ward.
Classification for this position will range from YP4 (RN Grade 2, Year 3) to YP9 (RN Grade 2, Year 8), base salary $89,284.00-$107,510.00 per annum, pro rata for part-time, plus superannuation.

About the Department:
The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) provides intensive care services to critically unwell patients from 0-18yrs from across Australia. RCH PICU is the designated statewide major trauma centre for paediatrics and collaborates with other health service providers within Victoria to provide specialised treatment for various services including liver transplant (Austin Health) and lung transplant (Alfred Health).
