Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Registered Nurse to join our growing team on a Casual Basis.
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and person-centred treatment throughout their healthcare journey. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to achieve positive health outcomes while contributing to a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

The role of the Registered Nurse is to:
· Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
· Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, applying critical thinking and sound clinical judgement to support safe and effective care.
· Develop therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and carers, ensuring care is person-centred, compassionate, and respectful.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, support continuity of treatment, and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
· Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards, legislative requirements, and organisational policies.
· Participate in quality improvement, professional development, and patient safety initiatives to support excellence in clinical practice.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
· Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and demonstrated clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
· Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
· A collaborative team player who works effectively within multidisciplinary environments while remaining accountable for their own practice.
· Committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
· Adaptable, compassionate, and motivated to continually develop professionally while contributing to a positive workplace culture.
