About the Role:
The RCH currently have part-time and full-time, ongoing Registered Nurse opportunities available to work across our Day of Surgery Centre and our Possum Ward (Surgical Short Stay Ward).
Internally, this position will be known and referred to as: Registered Nurse - Possum and Day of Surgery.
Classification for this position will be governed by Award 22 - Registered Nurses and depending on experience, will range from YP3 (RN Grade 2, Year 2) - YP9 (RN Grade 2, Year 8) from $73,476-$100,146 per annum (FTE, pro rata for part-time), plus Superannuation.
About the Departments:
Our Day of Surgery Centre cares for approximately 10,000 children and their families each year. The Possum Ward cares for patients admitted for a wide range of surgical procedures including tonsillectomy, simple fracture setting, arthroscopy, soft tissue wound repair, cleft lip repair, hernia repair, skin grafting and cardiac catheterisation. You will have the opportunity to work with medical, nursing, allied health (eg social work, occupational therapists, physiotherapists etc) and administrative staff in a short stay environment.
