Regional Support Officer
The Role
The Regional Support Officer plays a key support role in assisting the delivery of programs and initiatives across the ACFE Pathways and Workforce Branch. Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, Contracting and Operations, this position offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills by supporting core functions that enable the team to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
The role involves preparing correspondence, maintaining records, and applying administrative policies, procedures, and systems to support the effective delivery of regional activities. This may include support for procurement processes (including vetting and quality assurance), scheduling, and reporting requirements. A high level of engagement with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders is a key part of the role, requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.

The Team
The position of Regional Support Officer forms part of the ACFE Pathways and Workforce branch, which sits within Skills and TAFE (S&T) group. Skills and TAFE (S&T) group focuses on enabling Victorians to access the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations.
The Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD) incorporating the TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance branch and the TAFE Performance, Finance and Infrastructure branch, plays a system leadership and management role for the Victorian TAFE Network (VTN) across Victoria.
The OTCD is primarily responsible for driving change in the way the Victorian TAFE Network responds to government priorities and provides training as a coordinated network, better serving Victorian students, employers and communities.
