Regional Partnership Coordinator (Barwon)
- Salary: $116,413 - $140,849 (Plus Superannuation)

The Role
Reporting to the Manager, Regional Development, the Regional Partnership Coordinator leads strategic coordination and governance support for the Barwon Partnership and its work program to support regional economic, community and environmental outcomes.
Main accountabilities:
- Initiate and maintain effective relationships across government, local government, industry and community stakeholders.
- Provide governance and executive support to the Regional Partnership and associated committees, including strategic planning, agenda management, meeting coordination, secretariat functions and the provision of high-level advice to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain effective internal and external communication processes, including preparing correspondence, briefings, reports and stakeholder materials, and coordinating communications and information flow across relevant stakeholders.
- Lead delivery of Regional Partnership priorities by working across government to shape options, coordinate implementation activities, broker collaboration between stakeholders and monitor progress against agreed outcomes.

The position of Regional Partnership Coordinator forms a part of the Barwon South West branch within the Regional Development Victoria group.
We work with businesses, communities and across government to deliver economic growth, create jobs, build resilience, and support economic recovery in our regions.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Stakeholder management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Identify and responds to stakeholders' underlying needs; uses understanding of the stakeholder's organisational context to ensure outcomes are achieved; and finds innovative solutions to resolve stakeholder issues.
- Stakeholder engagement: Proven understanding of business and community engagement practices and principles and practices and proven experience in working with rural and regional Victorian stakeholders. Ability to identify issues in common and uses to build mutually beneficial partnerships and outcomes.
- Communication: Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare strategic correspondence, executive briefings, reports and stakeholder communications, and provide clear, accurate and timely advice within government environments and tight timeframes.
