About the Role
This position is a 10-month fixed term contract, at 0.4 FTE, as part of a job share arrangement.
Working in partnership with the Area and Divisional teams, the Mental Health Reform Division and the Inclusive Education Professional Practice Branch, the Manager, Regional Mental Health improves school practice and student outcomes by leading region-wide implementation, reporting and the ongoing improvement of key mental health and wellbeing initiatives in schools to ensure fidelity of implementation, consistency of practice and alignment with the strategic direction of the Government/ Department.
The team will support schools in all aspects of student mental health and wellbeing, including implementation of the Mental Health Practitioners initiative, the Schools Mental Health Fund and Menu, and the Mental Health in Primary Schools program. The position may be located in any of the regional offices (Bendigo, Coburg, Greensborough, Mildura, Swan Hill) but will require travel across the region.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Essential Qualifications and Experience: Relevant tertiary qualification in mental health, education or related field.
