The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services.
The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.

School Sport Victoria (SSV) is part of the Statewide Programs and Tech Schools Division
About the Role
The purpose of this role is to support implementation of key elements of the School Sport Victoria interschool sport programs, including:
The position will work in cooperation with Region Coordinators and other School Sport Victoria staff to ensure all requirements for teams and events are determined including facilities, scheduling, communications, marketing and financial considerations are met.
The role includes communicating and working effectively with stakeholder organisations within government, the school sector and the broader sporting sector, to build and maintain networks that will contribute to the delivery of successful project outcomes.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
A tertiary qualification is preferred.
Experience in schools and/or sporting event delivery is preferable
