Recruitment Officer
The team
Recruitment Services provides expert advice and support to the department on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices. We deliver consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions for our stakeholders and candidates.
The Talent Attraction and Campaigns team within Recruitment Services manage the delivery of state-wide recruitment and selection campaigns within the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS), using consistent and merit-based selection processes.
The role
As a key contributor to the high performing team, you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end selection processes and high-volume and non-volume front-line and corporate roles. You will be entrusted with the management of candidate care communication and related administrative activities and manage the onboarding of talent to work in critical frontline and corporate service positions. You will partner with Recruitment Advisers (VPS4) to assist with design, delivery and administrative tasks related to recruitment selection processes.
About you
Successful candidates for this role will demonstrate an ability to work together with colleagues across all components of a recruitment process including advertising, screening, scheduling, administering interviews, supporting face-to-face assessments including assessment centres, and completing a range of security checks for candidates.
Other unique or supporting skills, such as knowledge of best practice recruitment methodologies, use of psychometric tools, recruitment of diverse candidates, data analysis and reporting, research, or training would be highly regarded.
