About the role
We are seeking an experienced recruiter to join the team as a Recruitment and Retention Consultant. In this role, you will deliver end-to-end recruitment services across a diverse portfolio, supporting Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) to attract, appoint and retain high-quality talent to deliver safe, effective and inclusive legal services to those who need it most.
Working in close partnership with hiring managers, you will provide expert recruitment advice informed by labour market insights and workforce needs. You will design tailored recruitment strategies, proactively source and build talent pipelines, and ensure a consistent, inclusive and candidate-centred recruitment experience across all stages of the recruitment lifecycle.
You will play a key role in strengthening recruitment capability across VLA by supporting and educating hiring managers, contributing to process and system improvements, and participating in broader people, workforce and talent initiatives. You will also join a collaborative and supportive team that values partnership, continuous improvement and quality outcomes.
This role is hybrid but when in office, is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country. Applications will be considered from those seeking part time (0.8FTE minimum).
