About the role
This position will be the lead on delivering recovery projects across the road and walking track area within a wider recovery team. The person will be called upon to work in a wider recovery and park management team context. Tasks will include procurement, contract management and project delivery but may also include fire suppression, park management and other areas of delivery working closely with others in the team at Parks Victoria
About the Team
The Grampians Gariwerd recovery team is responsible for the delivery of a $32M program including fixed assets, biodiversity and cultural heritage recovery. We work closely with internal and external partners in delivery of the program.
We're looking for someone with:
Demonstrated project management experience in a recovery and land management context
- Experience with manging contractors and understanding systems in a land management context highly desirable
- Demonstrated capability to work independantly with good communication skills in a team environment
- Local experience with the Grampians Gariwerd National Park looked on favourably
- Position located at the Halls Gap Parks Victoria Office
