About the Role

The Records & Digitisation Officer works as a member of a team to support the department to deliver on core operational priorities in a complex, confidential and sometimes sensitive environment.

Key Selection Criteria
We are looking for someone who can play a key role in supporting records and information management for the department as we undergo digital transformation and implement a new approach to records management.
Based in the Melbourne CBD, you'll apply strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking to resolve issues. Collaboration is central to this role, working across teams and engaging with stakeholders to deliver effective, client-focused solutions. We’re looking for someone who’s a detail driven team play, who enjoys keeping things on track. They will be a calm, reliable person who can adapt when priorities shift, and will help the organisation find solutions that comply with legislation but meet business requirements.
Comfortable working with M365, SharePoint and/or Content Manager from a records or document management perspective, you will help guide others in their use and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience
Working knowledge of the Public Records Act 1973 and relevant Public Record Office Victoria standards (desirable)
