About the role
As a Ranger, you are responsible for supporting the provision of Visitor Experiences and the delivery of on-ground management and maintenance of a wide range of built park assets including; signage, walking tracks, boardwalks, lookouts, toilets, picnicking facilities and furniture, coastal access points, and associated minor assets within Pt Nepean National Park, ensuring that visitors safely enjoy passive recreation in natural areas, while also protecting the environment that makes the national park special.
You will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic, have good initiative and actively participate and contribute to a dynamic and supportive team.
This role is physically demanding and will often involve manual outdoor field duties carried out on a daily, weekly or regular basis in all weather conditions, and, sometimes in semi-remote areas. Candidates should have a reasonable level of fitness and health without significant medical issues or physical constraints that could prevent them from undertaking the inherent tasks of a field-based Ranger.
