About the role
A Ranger will support working in a team of staff to deliver high quality services in line with the District Action Plan, with support and under the direction of the Ranger Team Leader.
This position will work as a key member of the Southern Mallee Operations team in delivering on-ground services. Supporting work practices and ensure compliance with relevant specifications such as Parks Victoria's policies and procedures. You'll demonstrate a strong personal work ethic for team members to follow and ensure that District employees maintain a high standard of personal accountability and compliance with the Code of Conduct.
Ranger (Field Services) are responsible for supporting the team, to inspire enthusiasm, to ensure safety and welfare and to ensure other team members are appreciated for their efforts. Responsible for ‘hands on' work which includes sometimes leading and managing the team which may include ongoing employees, contractors, casuals, temporary staff and/or volunteers.
