About the role:
Parks Victoria is seeking a passionate and skilled Ranger at Wilsons Promontory National Park. Rangers use their skills and experience to manage, protect and maintain park values and assets, support great visitor experiences and to protect biodiversity. You will be part of a team who deliver in park services as directed by the Ranger Team Leader.
In this role, you'll be accountable for the delivery of on-ground works including, but not limited to, track and outstation maintenance, road and carpark maintenance, providing exceptional visitor experiences and supporting project works. You will also be involved in pest plant and animal management, native vegetation management, Traditional Owner engagement, fire and emergency management, visitor engagement, and compliance activities.
You will be required to work rostered weekends where you are remunerated through the payment of a Rostered Weekend Allowance.
