About the role
Our Rangers play a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences across Victoria's parks and reserves. As a Ranger, you'll be responsible for the on-ground management of Parks Victoria's estate, protecting natural and cultural values while enabling people to enjoy the outdoors.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll contribute to a diverse range of activities including conservation programs, visitor infrastructure maintenance, compliance activities, and community engagement. You'll also support partnerships with Traditional Owners and contribute to joint management outcomes.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a unique landscape including Brisbane Ranges National Park, Lerderderg State Park, Werribee Gorge State Park and other significant reserves. Rangers are also encouraged to support fire and emergency management as part of Forest Fire Management Victoria.
