About the role
As a Ranger you will be accountable for delivering a wide variety of land management activities within the Gippsland Alps area of management. This may include environmental conservation works, maintenance of visitor facilities at campsites, cleaning, walking tracks and road management, visitor engagement, and working with Traditional Owners in joint management.
A key focus of the role is to contribute to the effective delivery of remote area management within the Alpine National Park including our road network, campsites, natural and cultural values.
This role is physically demanding and will often involve manual outdoor field duties to be carried out on a regular basis in all weather conditions, often in remote areas.
