About the role
As a Ranger, you are responsible for the on-ground management and maintenance of built assets including, visitor facilities, services infrastructure, lookouts and walking tracks within Mornington Peninsula National Park, ensuring that visitors can safely enjoy passive recreation in natural areas while also protecting the things that make the national park special. You will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic and also actively participate and contribute to a dynamic and supportive team environment.
This role is physically demanding and will often involve manual outdoor field duties to be carried out on a daily, weekly or regular basis in all conditions, and, sometimes in semi-remote areas. Candidates should have a reasonable level of fitness and health and without significant medical issues that will prevent undertaking the inherent tasks of a field based Ranger.
