About he role
Our Rangers are key to Parks Victoria providing exceptional experiences for visitors to Victoria's parks and reserves. As a Ranger, you are responsible for the on-ground management of Parks Victoria's estate, consistent with organisational priorities, policies and procedures, ensuring that people can enjoy the outdoors and protecting the things that make our parks and reserves so special.
Working in a team environment, your day-to-day tasks will range from maintaining assets to environmental works. Core duties include Facilities and asset maintenance, working with contractors, visitor engagement, road maintenance and pest plant and animal works.
