About the facility
Barwon Medical Imaging provides a 24/7 comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services at the University Hospital Geelong, Barwon Health North, The Mckellar Centre, and Colac Area Health. Examinations include adult and paediatric emergency department patients, trauma/resus, inpatient and outpatient imaging. Our services are provided utilising Digital X-ray, OPG, 3rd generation Dual Energy and Spectral CT scanners, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Angiography (Including a new Hybrid Angio CT Interventional suite), newly installed Mammography machine, and Nuclear Medicine. These services are performed by a team of highly skilled and dedicated radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medcine technologists, radiologists, nurses and support staff who ensure that all patients have access to quality safe medical imaging services.
