About the role:
Western Health is seeking a skilled and motivated Grade 3 General Radiographer to join our team across all campuses, including the new Footscray Hospital. This role provides the opportunity to apply advanced clinical expertise while supporting the General and Fluoroscopy modality leads in the leadership and delivery of high-quality imaging services.
As a Grade 3 General Radiographer, you will provide leadership within your rostered General and Fluoro areas, mentor and support staff, and maintain excellent clinical standards. You will be well supported by the broader Medical Imaging Department through senior clinical leadership, access to professional development, and strong organisational infrastructure. This role is ideal for radiographers with advanced General or Fluoro experience who are ready to expand their leadership capability while maintaining hands-on clinical practice in a 24/7 service.
It is an exciting time to join our expanding General Imaging team, providing services to emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cohorts across all Western Health sites, including the brand-new Footscray Hospital.
In this leadership position, you will help guide the General Imaging service, oversee daily operations at your rostered site, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver Best Care outcomes for our patients.
You will be part of a dedicated Imaging workforce delivering safe, high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging across all life stages within a 24/7 operation. Training and credentialling opportunities across other imaging modalities are also available, with Western Health offering a comprehensive range of imaging services across all campuses.
