About the Department of Radiation Oncology
The Radiation Oncology department is committed to promoting the highest levels of radiation therapy treatment and oncology care for our patients. In realising this goal, the department will lead and excel in research, teaching and the use of person-centred evidence-based practice. Austin Health operates two radiation oncology centres in Victoria; one at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre (ONJCWRC) in Heidelberg and the other, Ballarat Austin Radiation Oncology Centre (BAROC), in the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC).
About the role
As the Radiation Oncologist, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals, who are passionate about providing best practice care for patients. Staff undertake professional development activities, are involved in research and liaise and consult with a wide range of specialists and associates to ensure the care offered is world-class. You’ll enjoy our continuing clinical, education and quality improvement strategy, which is developed through leadership forums and committees.
