The Victorian Government is establishing 50 government-owned and operated early learning centres by 2032 as part of the Best Start, Best Life reforms. The centres offer childcare, Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep. Early Learning Victoria (ELV) is part of the Victorian Department of Education. The ELV central team is leading the roll-out of the 50 centres and supports and oversees 4 centres that have recently opened. About the role
Early Learning Victoria recognises the significant role our workforce plays in bringing our purpose to life and we are committed to supporting and growing our early learning workforce to reach their full potential. The Quality and Learning Manager is responsible for leading Early Learning Victoria's work in the provision of professional learning and development for ELV staff.
The role will lead the design, implementation and evaluation of the organisational professional learning program, that enhances the capabilities, performance and engagement of staff across the organisation, supporting the effective provision of ELV's early learning centres. The position plays a critical role in enabling child safety across ELV and will ensure learning is aligned with regulatory requirements, evidence- informed practices and ELV's philosophy. The professional learning programs will enhance compliance, career development, and ongoing continuous improvement.
