About us:
The Parkville Local Health Service Network (Parkville LHSN) is made up of seven health services (Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, the Royal Women’s Hospital, the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Royal Eye and Ear Hospital, Dental Health Services Victoria and Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service).
LHSNs have been created to support reform of the Victorian health system for the benefit of patients and staff, and the sustainability of the system. The Government has asked LHSNs to initially focus on four areas: Access, Equity and Flow, Workforce, Quality and Safety and Shared Services.
This is a 12-month, Part Time, Fixed Term position working 38 hours per fortnight.
Your Opportunity:
The Quality Improvement Lead is responsible for leading and supporting several projects within Parkville LHSN’s quality and safety priority area. This role will work closely with and report to the Quality and Improvement Manager and the Parkville LHSN health services to develop, coordinate and implement the agreed Parkville LHSN quality and safety initiatives and activities.
As the Quality Improvement Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Safer Care Victoria’s Safer Together Program (STP) – a statewide initiative focused on creating a learning health system that is safer, more person-centred and sustainable.
