About the role
Barwon Health is the Victorian Department of Health appointed Aged Care Assessment (ACA) Lead Provider for the VIC 3 Service Area, delivering hospital and community-based aged care assessment services across the Barwon South West, Grampians and Loddon Mallee regions in partnership with Grampians Health and Bendigo Health.
We are seeking a Quality and Improvement Coordinator to join the Victorian West Single Assessment Service (SAS) in this newly created role. Working closely with Service Managers and Workplace Trainers across VIC 3, you will provide expert leadership in quality, safety, clinical governance and continuous improvement to support the delivery of high-quality and timely aged care assessments.
In this role, you will help drive service excellence by supporting compliance with Commonwealth and Victorian Department of Health contractual requirements and KPI performance, monitoring risk and safety initiatives, and contributing to the standardisation of aged care assessment processes and practices across the consortium.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping quality and improvement outcomes for a large, collaborative aged care assessment service supporting older people across regional Victoria.
