Are you an organised and customer-focused finance professional who enjoys working with financial systems, supporting stakeholders and ensuring high-quality administrative processes?
The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is seeking a Purchasing and Accounts Payable Officer to provide accurate and timely purchasing, accounts payable and financial administration support for the Bushfire and Forest Services Group.
This is an opportunity to join a purpose-driven team responsible for supporting critical asset, logistics and emergency management operations across Victoria. You will work closely with suppliers, operational teams and internal stakeholders to ensure invoices are processed accurately, payments are made on time and purchasing records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and controls.
As a Purchasing and Accounts Payable Officer, you will also support the management of Forest Fire Management Victoria fleet and inventory activities, including fuel card administration, fleet servicing coordination, fleet movements and inventory ordering.
